Understanding how to say nationalities properly
A sentence on a recent test: “Nosotras vivimos en Dublín pero somos _______.” English sentence: We live in Dublin but we are Portuguese.”. I provided the masculine form “Portugueses” which was marked wrong for the feminine form “Portuguesas.” I’m not sure why the feminine form is use here. Thanks

No need to answer, I see Inma’s answer below pointing out “nosotras” is the reason for the the use of the feminine form. Thanks
