Yo ________ enseguida que él era el asesino.I knew right away that he was the killer.(HINT: Conjugate "saber" in Pretérito indefinido)
You said the answer was supé and not supe. I have been unable to find an example in your lesson that uses the accent mark. What am I missing here and where can I find an example of supe with the accent mark along with an explanation_

Hola Christine
The feedback you received for writing as an answer "supé" with an accent instead of the correct "supe" (no accent) is that you had that "nearly correct", you can see a green tick but not a complete full green circle. We show you the correct answer is the one with spelling "supe". We sometimes don't mark down or not completely because of an accent, and this was the case here. I hope this clarified it for you.
Saludos
