Duro is an adverb and it is invariable, it always has that singular masculine ending as an adverb.
Trabaja duro.
She / he works hard.
If you use it as an adjective, then you need to make it agree, so you'd have duro, dura, duros, duras.
Esta carne está dura.
This meat is tough.
Este material es duro.
This material is hard.
