I am totally confused on this one. Does the adverb agree with the noun?

Seguro in the ly form
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Forming regular adverbs ending in -mente in Spanish"
Asked 3 years ago
Hola Patricia
No, adverbs don't have to agree with the noun. The rule for regular adverbs is that you take the feminine form of the adjective and add -mente; so, for example, the masculine form of "quick/fast" in Spanish is "rápido", and the feminine form is "rápida", therefore, to say "quickly" it'd be "rápidamente".
Adverbs don't modify nouns, but verbs.
I hope that clarified it.
Saludos
