indicative vs subjunctive

Hola Inma,

"Lo de que las películas de acción son muy emocionantes"

would it also de correct to use sean instead, given the informacion already known?

(As you can see, i'm still strangling with the subjunctive.)

Saludos

Hola Ελισάβετ

Yes, absolutely, you can also use the subjunctive here (I just added that new sentence with the subjunctive to the possible correct answers). It is a bit difficult here to see whether the speaker is considering that as something already shared in the conversation (that'd trigger "sean") or it is presenting this bit of information as something "new" to the listeners (that'd trigger "son"), as this is the first sentence of the whole text, so there is no context from before. So you can take it either way, and both options are correct.
