English translation with subjunctive

> My boyfriend is always asking me to be patient with him.

Translating this into the English subjunctive would be “My boyfriend is always asking that I be patient with him.” And that keeps the “que=that” part of things too!

Hola Mackenzie

I understand that it might be useful to see a more literal translation that is also using "that" (que), however we used the translations that match the register to the Spanish usage (despite not having the same structure), so it sounds more natural. 

We believe that using a translation using the English subjunctive as you are suggesting would be too formal.
