Hola Paul,

I believe that would still be correct although it is the spelling used in the USA, maybe not in the UK. I will check with our native English and American colleagues.

The correct spelling in UK is 'litre'.

'Liter' is considered the correct way to spell it in the USA. However, you could lose a mark in an exam in UK for a spelling error by using 'liter'. It's like using 'color' instead of 'colour', or the US 'gotten'. Perhaps it might also be similar to using the incorrect regional variation in a Kwiziq test or an academic exam in Spain (re tratar/tratarse for instance).

One of the attractions to me of using Kwiziq is that it teaches me predominantly Spain Spanish and uses UK English to do so. As a premium member I'd like to know in advance if that is likely to change.

Saludos

Hola Paul and Graeme,

Kwiziq remains with a focus on European Spanish, but our intention is to expand this to include other varieties of Spanish in the future, the main language of instruction remains British English, there is no intention to change this, however we will always permit all variant spellings where this is relevant.

Saludos,

Inma
