In the following sentence: "No dejes que Marcos te convenza. Es un embaucador."
Why is convenzas not correct? Doesn't the "te" trigger the tú conjugation?
Gracias, Augustine

Hola Augustine
the verb is conjugated in the "'él" form because it is "he" that is the subject of the sentence, not "you":
Don't let Marcos convince you ( = don't let that Marcos convinces you)
I hope it clarified it.
Saludos
Inma
