Why is it nunca estoy and not estoy nunca
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Using nunca in Spanish negative sentences"
Asked 3 years ago
Hola Precious
With verbs (any verb, not only estar) you can either say:
Nunca estoy...
or
No estoy nunca...
What we say in the lesson is that when there is a subject, the subject goes first, before nunca, not after:
Yo nunca... (not Nunca yo...)
Nosotros nunca... (not Nunca nosotros...)
María nunca... (not Nunca María...)
Saludos
Inma
