The examples given seem to be in the preterite, not the subjunctive. Should the title be changed, or the examples? Or am I mixed up?

Yes, you're right - that list was showing the past tense, not the subjunctive. The system sort of mixed these two lists that we had. Now they are correct:
List of -zar verbs that change from z to c in el presente de subjuntivo
List of -zar verbs that change from z to c in el indefinido (1st person singular)
Bear in mind that the first list is only showing the infinitives because it is the whole conjugation that is affected by this consonant change and we can't display all that.

They are in the preterite but I think it is showing the endings that will be used in the present subjunctive [without the accents though]
Yes, Marsha, that is my point. :) I hope either the title changes, or the accents are removed from the examples.
