Use of subjunctive with creo que?

I thought that creo que phrases is the affirmative were followed by the indicative, not the subjunctive?
Yo creo que es bueno que ________ tanta gente diferente.I think it's good that there are so many different people.HINT: Conjugate "haber" in El presente subjuntivo

I suggest that Kwiziq is testing our understanding of what constitutes a sentence clause and what acts as a subjunctive trigger with this question.
The way I think we both understand the rule regarding creer que with subjunctive is that the negative no creo que... would usually trigger the subjunctive.
However, in this case, the addition of bueno que to the first clause forms a personal opinion and it is that which triggers the subjunctive in the second clause.

Yes, Graeme is absolutely right. You do have the indicative after "Creo que", "Creo que es bueno", but then the phrase "es bueno que..." triggers the subjunctive: es bueno que haya...
