todo, etc.
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Using todo to say everything or all (of it) (indefinite pronoun)"
Asked 2 years ago
Hola Gerald
I can't think of any context where we'd use todo followed by "de". We use todo as a pronoun:
Lo has hecho todo.
You've done it all.
As an adjective:
Todos los días
Everyday
Todo el pollo
The whole chicken
But we don't use the preposition "de" (I imagine you're thinking about the English "all of something", as in for example "all of Scotland", "all of it", "all of the students"?). We'd say:
Toda Escocia
Todo eso/ello
Todos los estudiantes
...
