Todavía no

Todavía no

I just did an exercise and 'No todavía me he vestido para la fiesta'  was wrong. The correct answer was  'Todavía no me he vestido para la fiesta'.  I don't understand the difference. Help please.

Hola Beverley

In the lesson we explain that there are two ways to use "todavía no"; either you place the whole "todavía no" in the beginning of the sentence:

Todavía no me he vestido para la fiesta.

or you start with "No" + verb + todavía":

No me he vestido todavía para la fiesta.

But you can't place "no" right in front of "todavía":

No todavía me he vestido para la fiesta.

I hope it clarified it.

Saludos
