The quiz answer (shown below) and the lesson information don't match. I wonder if you could help explain. I don't see anywhere in the Lesson where it says, "Arriba, corriendo" means "Hurry, run!" Is that information in another lesson?

Quiz answer vs. Lesson information
If you can't see what I pasted from the Quiz, here is the content:
Choose the right sentence in Spanish for "Hurry, run!":
¡Arriba, corriendo!
¡Anda, corres!
¡Correr!
¡A corriendo!
The command is "corriendo" which is the gerund like in the lesson. "Arriba" merely intensifies the command in this case. In English the command is "run," and "hurry" is used to intensify the command.
¡Corriendo! = "Run!"
¡Arriba, corriendo! = "Hurry, run!"/"Come on, run!"
The other options aren't commands. Correct me if I'm wrong on these, but "¡Anda, corres!" is an exclamation not a command, something like "Wow, you're running!" "¡Correr!" would translate to something like "Running!" and as far as I know "¡A corriendo!" doesn't really mean anything. It's there to trick you because you can express a command like "¡A correr!" using the infinitive not the gerund.
Hope that helps!
Hola Amy,
it is exactly as Jamie explained!!
The other options are not commands. The structures/forms used are not those of a command. The correct option is "Arriba, corriendo" although the translation of "arriba" is non existent in the English. It is as if we were asking the kids "to go upstairs" and to do it quick and running because it is too late. The "going upstairs" part would be represented by "arriba", and "corriendo" using the gerund form would be a command, as explained in the lesson.
Saludos
Inma
