Querer question
Hola. Does "quise" imply that the person is now a dentist and that that was always their intention? The lesson is perfect vs simple past, but I see the English and want to use the imperfect. Siempre __________________ ser dentista. I always wanted to be a dentist
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "When to use the perfect tense versus the simple past (Perfecto vs Indefinido)"

Hola Sherry
You'll see the specific nuance of querer using the preterite here in this other very specific lesson where this verb often carries an extra meaning when used in the preterite.
Have a look here.
I hope it helps.
Saludos
