Por la mañana or de la mañana?
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Por vs Para in Spanish: Using por (and not para) to express a part of the day"
Asked 3 years ago
Hola Peter
We use "de la mañana", "de la tarde" and "de la noche" when we want to specify if the time we are referring to is AM or PM, for example:
Son las nueve de la mañana.
It's nine in the morning.
Llegó a las 11 de la noche.
He arrived at eleven PM.
Saludos
