Paragraph title correctness

I copied the text below from your lesson. You title it “Pretérito perfecto de Subjuntivo” when it actually is the present perfect subjunctive.  Am I wrong or correct?Ojalá with El Pretérito Perfecto de Subjuntivo refers to something that someone wishes has happened, either very recently or with no particular time in mind.Ojalá hayamos aprobado todos el examen.I hope we've all passed the exam.Ojalá hayan seleccionado a Carla para el puesto.I hope they've selected/chosen Carla for the post.¿Te acuerdas de los Ramírez? Ojalá hayan tenido una buena vida, después de aquel desastre.Do you remember the Ramirez family? I hope they've had a good life, after that horrible event.

Hola Habib,

The Spanish term for the “Present Perfect Subjunctive” is “Pretérito Perfecto de Subjuntivo.” Confusing to English speakers …. yes.

When you look at the translations which you pasted above, they all apply to past events - so you can see where the word “pretérito” is coming form. That said there are other uses including for example future events with a reduced possibly of happening, but you would have covered that in the lesson. Saludos. John

Hola Habib

As John said, the term pretérito on the name of the Spanish tense is a bit confusing as in English you call it "present perfect" - I thought you may want to have this table with the Spanish (and English) tense names in case of any doubt.

Saludos
