Omit solía?

In the first example of this lesson, could the word "solía" be omitted and simply use "nadia", as the verb tense implies "usually"?

Hola Debbie

Yes you could simply go for the Imperfect tense of the main verb, in this case "nadaba". The use of soler though puts more emphasis on the "used to..." meaning.
