Number 7 does not seem right. Yo fui medico. Isn’t fui mean to go? I am confused.

The verbs ser and ir have exactly the same conjugation in the preterite tense in Spanish, so we need to see the context to realize if it means to be or to go.
In this sentence it means "was" not "went" "Yo fui médico".
