Is use of para possible here?

Mi hermano montó el mueble ___para_____ mí ya que yo estaba ocupada.

Would this be a correct sentence but with a different meaning?

Hola Ba,

Yes, you could also say "para mí" but it would sound as if you are saying "My brother assembled the cabinet that was for me as I was busy."; meaning that that cabinet was for you, and your brother assembled it because you were busy.
