I'm going to shower

Is it correct to say: Ya me pongo a duchar

Or should it reflector that both verbs are reflexive ie: Ya me pongo a ducharme.

The latter just sounds a little weird to me.

We would keep the two reflexive pronouns in this case. It sounds a bit weird to drop it for ducharse, so the most natural way to say it is your second sentence: "Me pongo a ducharme."
