Hola Ole

I understand it could be a bit confusing as you could interpret it in different ways. To simplify it we change that particular sentence and it's now saying "...chopped pork and chopped vegetables" so it is absolutely clear we are referring to all ingredients. I hope that helps.

Hola Ole,

...cerdo y verduras picadas...

This translates as "...pork and chopped vegetables..."

The adjective 'picadas' is referring to the feminine noun 'verdura'. In this passage they refer to the 'chopped vegetables'= 'verduras(plural) picadas'. Cerdo, when referring to pork meat, is a masculine noun= el cerdo.

Hope this helps.

Clara :)
