Why is it wrong to put. "No tenía una casa"? i.e include "una" in the translation of : I didn't have a house.

You can also use the article here, so I included as a possible correct answer. Just so you know for further tests, when the kwiz is about conjugating a verb, so you find a hint saying "Conjugate the verb... in whatever tense", we are just testing the verb conjugation, not any other element in the sentence. You only have to focus on the verb.
