I learned that you can use the futuro simple and the condicional simple to express something which might happen in the future.
Is the difference that the futuro simple only can be used with a sentence which states the probability of the action?
E.g.:
Tú ________ chocolate sin parar
Comerías
Pero:
Probablemente, tú comerás chocolate sin parar.
If my assumption is correct, what is the difference to:
Probablemente, tú comerías chocolate sin parar.

The conditional can indicate something that might happen in the future, it is an "idea" for he future.
Yo iría a la universidad. (I would go to Uni [this is my wish and it might happen])
The future doesn't normally indicate something that "might" happen but something that "will happen" (the decision is made).
When the future is seen as a "might" is when we add adverbs that indicate doubt/uncertainty, e.g. "probablemente", but not the future tense itself.
In this case, both the conditional and the future indicate "might" (less certainty), although the sentence with the future tense implies more certainty.
Probablemente iré a la universidad.
Probablemente iría a la universidad.
