Estas or estas I couldn't figure out how to do the accents

Hola Ruth,

I am not quite sure what you mean. "Estás" as the verb estar conjugated in 2nd person singular "tú estás" needs the accent on the -a.

Are you maybe comparing this to the demonstrative "estos/estas" = these, which don't take the accent because the stress is on the first syllable "es-"??
