Hola Inma,
Please could you advise me?
When speaking casually as in the conversation here, is it generally more common to use 'estar' than 'sentir' regarding 'to feel'?
Gracias :)

Hola Clara
Yes, using estar would be more colloquial and more idiomatic - it is often used.
No te preocupes, te sentirás mejor en unos días. (slightly more formal)

Remember that we use estar often to refer to physical and state of mind:
- ¿Ya te has recuperado?
- Sí, ya estoy bien, gracias.
- Me preocupa Juan. Siempre está muy nervioso.
- Es verdad, y últimamente está peor.
Saludos
Inma
