English translation

Why is the "quedarse + gerund" translated throughout as "stay...". I'm a native U.S. English speaker, and I don't know anyone who would say that someone "stays doing" anything. We'd say the person "keep doing...".

typo ---- we'd say the person(s)  "keeps...", "keep", or "kept...",

For what it's worth, I would have preferred it to remain as "stays". The English is awkward, but I like having the more literal translation because it helps connect to other meanings of "quedar".
