de or desde
de la revista ELLE is from the answer
Asked 2 years ago
Hola Ashlyn
The meaning of this "from" in English doesn't correspond with the Spanish "desde" - we use desde to say from but when we are talking about "point of departure" or also "time related". See lesson on "desde" here.
This "from Elle magazine" in Spanish would be using other prepositions like "en" or "de" as in "on the magazine" or "of the magazine", but not desde.
I hope it clarified it for you.
Saludos cordiales
Inma
