Confused as to how 'antes de' works in the example

In the example Nosotros podemos salir antes del trabajo temprano hoy, wouldn't it mean the same thing to say Nosotros podemos salir del trabajo temprano hoy.

Hola Connor

Yes, changing the order of those two elements in the sentence won't change the meaning. Spanish is quite flexible in terms of order.
