[con/por] lo cual vs. conque?
Hola Monk
Both conque and con lo cual/por lo cual are conjunctions that express a consequence of the main clause, but conque is more colloquial than con lo cual/por lo cual.
I would add that when the clause expressing the consequence is using in imperative, con lo cual/por lo cual are less common than conque. For example:
No te voy a dar dinero, conque no me preguntes más. (more common)
No te voy a dar dinero, con lo cual/por lo cual no me preguntes más. (not usual)
I am not giving you any money, so, don't ask me again.
Also, with conque we can start a sentence expressing surprise, but that is not possible with the more formal options con lo cual/por lo cual:
Conque ya no te queda dinero, ¿eh?
So you have no money left, right?
I hope this clarified it
Saludos
