Shouldn't there be the word "alrededor" since the English translation is "around the lounge"?

Hola Slim
The around bit is really attached to the verb, not the salón bit.
It's saying:
Yo muevo las sillas del salón.I'm moving the chairs around in the lounge.
The verb "muevo" in conveying this meaning of "moving around" but there is no need in Spanish to add any preposition. It's understood by the context.
