ACCIÓN DE GRACIAS 2
la oración: TOMAREMOS una tarta de manzana. How does "tomar" become "to have" and why not use "comeremos" or "teneremos"? Or, is there another verb "to have" which can be used in the form of "we'll have" as meant in the sentence, such as "tener"?

Hi Garry,
yes, we can also use the verb "tomar" for "eating" or "drinking", which we decided to use here in this reader; "tomar unas tapas" (to have some tapas) or "tomar una copa" (to have a drink)
Saludos
