I notice all the caer examples used reflexive pronouns except the following example :
El árbol cae encima de la casa.
The information indicates that reflexive pronouns are generally used with caer, so I'm wondering if the above sentence also correct as follows:
El árbol se cae encima de la case.

You can use caer or caerse - there is a tendency to use it without the pronoun when it is inanimate objects that fall (but just a tendency as you can also say "el árbol se cae")
The reason why we have this example using "cae" and not "se cae" is because, as you can read in this same thread, someone spotted that we were always using caerse in all the examples, so I added this specific one about the tree as a non pronominal caer, so we can illustrate this too.
Bear in mind though that when we talk about people falling down we use caerse more generally.
