mirar - ver

mirar - ver

I used "mirar" and that was corrected to "ver". Is the difference somewhat the same as the difference between "watch" and "see"?

Hola Ole

As Marsha said, in Spain ver is used for to see or to watch and mirar for to look, generally.

In certain regions, but this is not the common rule, mirar may be used too for watching TV, and in Latin America this is also the case.

We used in this exercise what is more commonly used: ver

Saludos
