Hola,In the sentence above, which was in a test today, is 'la' necessary?  I would have thought that it would be 'de educación'.By the way, I cannot type accents in this dialogue box, I cut and paste from my word processor.  Is there a way to type accents in here?Also another answer is mixed up:Prefiero ________ armario porque es más grande.  because it is bigger.)I prefer that wardrobe (over there(HINT: The speaker is referring to a wardrobe that is far away from the speaker and the listener.)Gracias y saludos,Colin

Hola Colin, I can only answer part of your question because it appears that the sentence starting "El gobierno" is not connected with the exercise "Difference between este, ese ...." which his referenced on your question. There does seem to be a mix up.

If you want to type accents you can hold down the key concerned and it will give you alternative forms of the letter concerned, which you then select. On a Mac you can also do this for the vowels, or you can use fn+alt and press the letter. The letter ñ is created by fn+alt+n, n. There is a lesson about this: see the link below. Saludos. John

If you are using Windows 10, you can go to Settings -> Time and Language -> Language -> Add Language

You then have the option of adding a Spanish keyboard. You can choose between several types from Latin America or Spain. I prefer the keyboard layout from Spain because the accent button is just to the right of the ñ whereas in the Latin American keyboard, it is diagonally to the upper right.
