Hola Ronald

I'm not sure what you saw in the lesson that confused you.

"Crea" can be the 3rd person singular of crear (to create) in the present indicative:

Luisa crea un ambiente especial en sus fiestas.

Luisa creates a special athmosphere at her parties. (present indicative of crear)

"Crea" can also be the 1st and 3rd person singular of "creer" (to believe) in the present subjunctive:

¿Quieres que yo crea esa mentira?

Do you want me to believe that lie?

¿Quieres que él/ella crea esa mentira?

Do you want him/her to believe that lie?

Also, with usted:

No quiero que usted crea sus mentiras.

I don't want you to believe their lies.

I can't see anywhere in the lesson suggesting that "crea" is 1st person singular of the present indicative of crear. What we say is that it is the 1st person singular of the present subjunctive

I hope this clarified it.

Saludos
