The Feast of the Goat is a novel by Mario Vargas Llosa, a Peruvian writer. It talks about the Trujillo dictatorship in the Dominican Republic during its last days. With his excellent narrative, Mario presents an intense story about power, tyranny, loyalty and courage. This novel is good to reflect on the politics of this country and human nature.
