The National Capitol of Havana was built in 1929 under the direction of the architect Eugenio Raynieri Piedra. This building, inspired by the Pantheon in Paris, Saint Paul's in London and by the United States Capitol, has a neoclassical columned facade and a great dome that reaches 92 meters in height. In addition, it is one of the most visited tourist centers in the city, one of the six most important palaces worldwide and the kilometric origin of the Cuban road network. Since 2010 its restoration is being carried out to once again be the seat of the Cuban parliament. In short, this emblematic building is an architectural icon of Havana which is worth visiting.
