Ricardo Porro was a Cuban architect. He was born in Camagüey in 1925 and finished his studies at the University of Havana in 1949. He supported the Revolution, and therefore had to go into exile. Later, he traveled to Venezuela and there he met other exiled architects. With the triumph of the Revolution, he returned to Cuba and designed many spectacular works, including the School of Plastic Arts. He died in Paris in 2014.
