Many people are convinced that the Halloween festival is of North American origin, but none of this is true. Of Celtic tradition, Halloween is really an ancestral Irish holiday which began to be celebrated with the nickname "Samhain". Pagan ancestors believed that during the night of the 31st of October, the spirits of the dead returned to visit the mortal world. because that day the line that separates both worlds was narrowing. As many Irish people emigrated to the United States, they spread this tradition throughout the country, where it was welcomed with great success. Despite being a holiday of Irish origin, other countries of the world, like the United States, celebrate it in style.
