If you are a cinema lover, you can't miss the San Sebastián International Film Festival, whose first edition took place in the year 1953. The Festival takes place during the last week of September. During those days, the city welcomes numerous film stars as important as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Javier Bardem and Monica Belucci, among others. People do not think this festival is as famous as the one of Cannes. However, it is the most important of those that are held in Spain on cinema, and in all the Spanish-speaking countries, I think it would be worth going to San Sebastián in order to meet my favourite actors. Throughout its history, the Festival has been witness to notable events such as, for example, the European premiere of the Star Wars saga or the world premiere of 'Melinda and Melinda' by Woody Allen.

Clever stuff happening!
