In El Presente, many verbs that end in -cer/-cir preceded by a consonant have a stem change in just the yo form: -c- changes to -z-. However, in El Presente de Subjuntivo, these verbs have this same irregularity in all forms.

The endings are the same as for all regular -er and -ir verbs in El Presente de Subjuntivo.

Here are some examples:

Yo no creo que le convenza porque es muy cabezota.I don't think I'll convince him because he is very stubborn.

Ella quiere que tú esparzas las cenizas en el mar.She wants you to scatter the ashes in the sea.

Dudo que Lara convenza a su padre para salir.I doubt Lara will convince her father to go out.

Esparzamos los papeles por el suelo para verlos mejor.Let's spread the papers out on the floor to see them better.

Espero que convenzáis a vuestras amigas para venir a la fiesta.I hope you convince your friends to come to the party.

Queremos que esparzan pétalos de rosa sobre nuestra cama.We want them to scatter rose petals over our bed.

Note that there aren't many common verbs with this irregularity. Other -cer and -cir verbs have a different consonant change.
